All I have to do is find the books, describe and list them, then ship them out when they sell. With E-Bay, it's more complicated. I have to create a listing for the auction and describe what the book is about as well as what its condition is. I have to deal with collecting for it and shipping, taking photos, the whole thing. But sometimes EBay is worth it. I have books I can't sell on Amazon that I've done quite well with on Ebay. |

right now i'm focusing on ebooks, but i always had it in mind to set up at least an amazon affiliate for regular books. don't know if most people "sell" that way or they are actually selling their own books there directly.
also checking out the other popular sites. i use book burro (plug-in) when i'm buying books and usually see bargains at some of the other sites mentioned plus half.com, so i know there's a lot of competition. maybe depends on what you're trying to sell.
i'm gonna check out the tradebit site above for my ebooks. ebay is cool, but the fees add up (listing, pictures, extras, selling, etc.) especially since my books right now are under $5.00. i started setting up individual web sites for them myself, but it seems pretty time consuming and expensive getting traffic, so other outlets where i could list would be cool. |

There is a 100% Aussie owned site with over 220,000 members is Oztion (ozshun), free listing & cheap re listing every 2 months. I have heaps listed there & make regular sales. But, unlike you guys who sell on Amazon & Alibris, my selling is just a hobby. One that comes in handy when the utility bills arrive, lol. |
